Why a salon would discount at all

A chair that sits empty at 10am on a Tuesday earns nothing, and it costs you the same as a chair that is full: the stylist is rostered, the lights are on, the rent is already paid. An offer on that hour is not a discount on your business — it is revenue on an hour that had none. The hours you are already busy stay full price.

Quiet weekday mornings

Tuesday and Wednesday before noon are the emptiest hours in most salons, and they are the hours your team is already rostered for. Filling two of them changes the week.

The gap a cancellation leaves

Someone drops out at short notice and a ninety-minute slot goes with them. That gap is the hardest thing in a salon to refill and the most expensive to lose.

The last hour before close

The salon is open, the team is there and the till is still on. One more head before you lock up costs almost nothing extra to serve.

The client pays less for exactly the same service. You earn on a chair that was going to earn nothing. Nobody is subsidising anybody — that is the whole idea.

You keep everything you already have.

This is the part most marketplaces get wrong. Listing here doesn’t ask you to move your diary, retrain your team or put a new terminal on the counter.

  • Keep your booking system — whatever you use today
  • Keep your terminal: clients pay you at your own counter
  • Nothing to install, and no change to how the floor runs
  • Your listing shows your own address and phone number

What a listing is

Your salon, on its own page

Name, suburb, category, photos, the services you offer with prices and durations, your opening hours, and a button that rings your salon.

How listing works

From a conversation to a live page, without touching your floor.

Tell us about the salon

A short call: which branches, what you do, and which hours you actually want busier. No slide deck and no obligation.

We build the listing with you

Photos, services with your prices, opening hours and your phone number. You approve it before anyone can see it.

You choose the quiet hours

Pick the days and times you want filled and what goes on for them. Your busy hours are never touched unless you say so.

You watch what it did

The merchant portal shows how the listing and each offer performed, so carrying on is a decision you make on numbers rather than on our word.

It stays your salon

You stay in control of the price

You set every offer and you can pause or pull it the moment you are busy enough. It is your pricing; we never move it for you.

You are not locked in

Take the listing down whenever you want. There is no contract that makes leaving expensive, because a marketplace that has to trap you is not working.

How much traffic, honestly

LuxPass is new. We are not going to tell you there are a million people waiting on it. If you want to know exactly what a listing in your suburb would get today, ask us and we will show you the real figure rather than a projection.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to change my booking system?

No. Keep whatever you use today — a salon system, a spreadsheet, a paper diary. A listing does not touch how you take bookings.

Won’t discounting train my regulars to wait for a deal?

That is the right question to ask, and it is why offers are scheduled by you rather than always on. You put them on the hours you are empty, which are rarely the hours your regulars want. If you start seeing a regular move, pull that slot — it takes one tap.

Who takes the payment?

You do, at your counter, on your own terminal. LuxPass does not sit between you and your money, and there is no wallet holding a client’s funds.

Can I stop an offer once it’s running?

Yes, from the merchant portal, whenever you like. Offers are scheduled by you and they are yours to pull.

How do I get my photos and prices on there?

Send them to us when you sign up and we’ll set the listing up with you, or manage it yourself from the merchant portal.
